Northeastern Electric Racing designs and constructs all-electric formula-style vehicles for annual collegiate competitions. A desktop telemetry hub displays both historic and real-time performance data from key systems in order for engineers to tune the 2025 competition vehicle for maximum performance.
Modularity
Argos should be adaptive to the needs of the vehicle. If a vehicle system has recurrent issues, users should be able to configure widgets to better suit debugging that system.
Intuitive Iconography & Coloring
Argos will face its highest usage during testing and competition. These high stress environments require engineers to be able to navigate data very quickly.
Vehicle Testing
In order to identify and solve issues, engineers require access to every datapoint the vehicle is collecting during testing sessions.
Competition Events
Competitions are comprised of endurance, autocross, and acceleration events. Engineers should be able to monitor the vehicle's systems remotely during these events.

Modular Widgets
Each widget is designed at a fixed width on a grid. This allows them to not only look visually cohesive, but be configured in different combinations. It also allows the UI design to look consistent across screen sizes.
Glanceable Typography & Iconography
Although several widgets can be expanded for further details, each puts the key data at the forefront with intuitive iconography and bold typography.
